We can see and feel how our bodies start to suffer a little wear and tear with time, but what about our home wiring? It's not so apparent, and can be realized too late. Electrical faults mean fire hazards and potential harm to you and your family.

Regular checks (just like you do on your body or car) can help prevent serious accidents and injuries (possibly death) - If you notice anything unusual such as damaged sockets (e.g. burn marks), buzzing or crackling when you plug appliances in, nuisance circuit-breakers tripping - please contact Lavender Electrical to schedule a proper inspection. We are registered electricians and will check the condition of the electrics against the UK standard for the safety of electrical installations.
Once completed, we will then issue you with an Electrical Installation Condition Report describing any any electrical condition not meeting the present-day safety standard that might give rise to danger, and a recommendation on how and when to resolve the issues, if any.
- 10 years for an owner-occupied home.
- 5 years for a rented home.
- 3 years for a caravan
- 1 year for a swimming pool.
